I have bipolar and have taken Lithium carbonate for 35 years. My ultrasounds of my kidneys have shown cysts all over and they say I have 3 b kidney failure. I’ve tried to go off Lithium and take other medications. All of them make me sick and depression set in after 6 months of trials. A nurse friend told me I look ed awful and suggested I go back on the Lithium. Now the nephrologist wants me to take amelloride and stay on the Lithium. Amelloride has horrible side effects. If I give up on that, the nephrologist says I’ll have to get blood draws quarterly and ultrasounds as well. He thinks I could need dialysis down the road. In the name of Jesus I reject his calling out the negative and ask God to replace th ese comments with His sovereign word. I am a Christian and I do seek out prayer for healing. I tried to get medical records for past ultrasounds, because I believe much of the damage happened in the beginning when I took 900 mg. Lithium. For 30 years I’ve been on 525 mgs to 675 mgs. ( present dose). I have also had 5 episodes of hypothyroidism, now controllled with Betaine HCl with every protein meal. This keeps my TsH at a steady n number.

Additionally, I have fibromyalgia, treated only with heat and ice and cranial. PT has failed over and over. Chiropractic has provided minimal help. I sleep on heat wit CBD oil plus a carrier oil and use the alpha stim to get dream sleep and pain relief.

My husband have bipolar disorder 1, We are separated for now because he does not trust me. He accuses me of things so on and so fort. I find these thing stressful and draining as this was our life since we’re married. I am also a Christian but sometimes or I think my faith is too low? My husband idk if he’s a Christian because when I wanted to go to church or during our disagreements he judges me about being a Christian but not acting like one because of my bad behavior. But who is he to judge? That’s why i mostly forget bout God because of him telling me things like that. I am not perfect but who is? May God bless you
